There was once a carefree thought
It danced with the wind like a floating piece of paper,
Flowing across the planets murky plains
But now that dream has come and gone
We have all castrated it together
Hungry like the tyrants who hold their hands above the sky
Not showing any sympathy about getting them burned up by the sun
Is this what you were made for?
In commitment she rides
High on her steel horse
(Far) behind the curtain
with bushels of fire and anarchy
It is rebellion that fuels her steady gaze
I want to be ready
Peace sounded out through the stillness of the tree's
Love was only heard faintly
Like a muffled dog barking in the distance
Love had been chained, spat on, and broken.
With a calloused body it crawled about in the mud
destined to fear death... there forever
(Or so we have forced it to be this way)
and dying happens inevitably
We stand beside Love watching it thrash and drown
I am dressed in white
I remain clean while everyone is splattered
Yet still she is perched on her noble steed
Ready to pounce at any sign of danger
Not fully understanding that she is the only one
Suspicious and new
All shiny and bright
A nicotine smile in the darkness of the night
Am I ready?
Fear had escaped the sorrows of the womb
but Death would not take it
It makes one sick with passion
and Envy sat at its side
Laughing, talking, and gaining leverage on the situation
In a hospital chair inside a hospital room
there posed a question
Who's side would you choose?
Fear had offered an opinion
"Life and Death come but once unless you choose otherwise"
The hospital bed filled with tears the moment this had been realized
But it came and it passed as all situations do
Marked: Failure, boring or something along those lines
Lift me towards her towering mount
Climbing the vines of the sidewalks
and the bricks were all laid at her discretion
To frighten away the parasites and the whores
Cross legged in her sanctuary
My intrigue guides me in
With dedication I pull back the curtain
I am more then ready...
Wow - this is intense.
